Additional Warranty Information
Some parts manufacturers and suppliers will offer a warranty on a part that exceeds our local repair shop warranty. In some cases, it could be a lifetime parts warranty! When this occurs, the staff at Hotchkiss Auto Repair will work with you on the warranty claim to the parts supplier. There will be a labor charge for installation of these parts if the failure occurs beyond.
Wearable parts or services (oil changes, brake replacements, clutch replacements, battery replacements, tires, etc.) carry unique workmanship, premature wear, and parts/labor warranties.
We will occasionally install used parts when OE or high-quality aftermarket components are not available. These used parts do not qualify for the warranties described above and typically carry much lower coverage. Our staff will discuss the risks involved with installing used parts in every circumstance.
